Device Monitoring System (DMS)
With network operations constantly changing as business needs vary, new devices are continuously added to the network and older ones are phased out. It is up to the network administrator to track all the changes regarding the devices on a regular basis. In order to optimally utilize any device, it is essential for the administrator to understand the devices role and its impact on the delivery service. A device monitoring system can aid the administrator in monitoring the performance of the devices.
Persistent’s Device Monitoring System (DMS), a Junos Space SDK 11.2 application, enables enterprises and service providers to effectively monitor network infrastructure operations. The main objective of the DMS application is to help the administrator monitor and deploy important Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Juniper devices. Persistent’s DMS easily generates useful KPI reports while maintaining a repository of historic KPI data reports to aid network infrastructure planning.
