We have established nine competency centers which that are cross-functional teams that continually investigate new technologies and develop capabilities to differentiate, support and promote our core businesses. Our competency centers are organized around three areas of expertise—Domain-based, Product Engineering and Platform expertise.

Domain-based Expertise: Our Telecommunications, Life sciences, Analytics and Data Infrastructure and Embedded Systems competency centers are focused on building specific domain-based expertise, to harness and leverage our experience and tools across firms within each focus industry. We hire domain experts in these areas and have collaborations with research groups in universities and research laboratories.

Product Engineering Expertise: Our regular interaction with many leading software product companies combined with our processes has helped us develop broad based insights into development methodologies followed worldwide. Our experience in product engineering is captured in our Usability Engineering, Performance Engineering, Independent Validation and Verification competency centers. Through these competency centers we focus on delivering products and services that provide specific engineering solutions across industries.

Platform Expertise: Our platform expertise is embodied in our Microsoft and Java competency centers.
